Copyright and Intellectual Property

Joyixa is a gaming portal that features browser-based games created by independent developers. We take intellectual property rights seriously and expect our visitors to do the same. This page explains how we handle copyright concerns and what to do if you believe something on our site infringes your rights.

Our Respect for Developers

Every game on Joyixa is featured with the understanding that it is freely distributed for browser play. We source games from developers who make their work available through open hosting platforms. If you are a developer and your game appears on Joyixa without your permission, we want to hear from you and will remove it promptly.

How to Report Copyright Infringement

If you hold the copyright to a game, image, text, or other material that appears on Joyixa and you believe its use has not been authorized, you may submit a written notice to our designated contact. For your notice to be valid under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), it must include the following information:

  • Your full legal name and a signature (electronic signatures are acceptable).
  • A clear description of the copyrighted work you claim is being infringed. If you are reporting multiple works, provide a representative list.
  • The specific URL on Joyixa where the infringing material is located, along with enough detail for us to find it quickly.
  • Your mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement confirming that you believe the use in question is not authorized by the copyright owner or by law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or an authorized representative.

Where to Send Your Notice

Email your completed notice to our copyright contact:

ws761798943@gmail.com

Subject line: Copyright Takedown Notice
Attention: Joyixa Copyright Review

We prefer email because it allows us to acknowledge receipt immediately and begin reviewing your claim without delay.

What Happens After We Receive Your Notice

Our team reviews every copyright notice we receive. When a valid notice arrives, we will:

  • Send you a confirmation that we have received and are reviewing your claim.
  • Examine the identified material and assess whether the claim appears valid.
  • Remove or disable access to the material if the infringement is confirmed.
  • Notify the party who posted the content, providing a copy of your complaint where legally required.

Disputing a Removal

If you believe your content was removed by mistake, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

  • Your signature (electronic is fine).
  • Identification of the removed material and where it previously appeared on our site.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, and phone number, along with a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant court.

We will forward your counter-notification to the original complainant. Depending on the outcome, we may restore the removed material.

Repeat Infringement

Joyixa maintains a policy of terminating access for users who are found to be repeated copyright infringers. If you have received multiple valid complaints, we may restrict your ability to submit content or interact with the site.

Accuracy Matters

Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, anyone who knowingly makes a false claim of infringement may be held liable for damages. Please ensure your complaint is genuine and accurate before submitting.

Questions About Copyright?

If you have questions about this policy or need to discuss a copyright matter that does not fit the formal notice process, email us at ws761798943@gmail.com with the subject line "Copyright Inquiry." We are happy to discuss concerns informally before resorting to formal procedures.
